Passive Solar Design
With the passive solar design, you can make heat move wherever you want, whenever you want. You have the ability to turn cool air to warm air during the winter, and warm air to cool air for the summer. In order for the passive solar home to work, the heat that descends from it must be cooler than the warm air itself. If there isnt any cool air descending, the hot air cannot rise to replace it. A wrong passive solar home doesnt store nearly as much energy as it should store. Every good passive solar design needs a connective loop with a heat input and output so it continues to work. All the heat goes to the windows when the sun goes down and also when the tempurature decreases. The picture on the left comes from motherearthnews.com.
